A working vintage Christmas angel chime with candle-powered carousel action, suspended angels, bells, and a colorful lithographed religious scene at the base. When the candles are lit, rising heat turns the upper fan and the angels rotate to strike the bells. This example works and sounds lovely, and a video of it in operation is available.
The base includes traditional Christmas religious imagery and the phrase “Gloria in Excelsis Deo.”
Condition: Vintage condition with visible oxidation, spotting, finish loss, discoloration, and age wear to the metal and printed elements. Working at the time of listing. Never leave burning candles unattended and keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials.
