A log cabin syrup container that very specifically does not want to be mistaken for a syrup container.
This vintage Towle’s Log Cabin Syrup advertising coin bank is shaped like a little cabin and covered in colorful lithographed graphics. The front carries the bold Log Cabin Syrup sign, the reverse shows a family scene, and the black chimney doubles as the coin slot. The top even announces “THIS IS NOT A FOOD CONTAINER,” just in case anyone had plans.
A terrific piece of vintage grocery advertising and an especially fun shelf collectible.
