Vintage Perfection Time Book Weekly No 557

This little book was once somebody's version of payroll software, except it did not require a password reset, a two-factor code, or one emotionally devastating spreadsheet crash.

The Perfection Time Book Weekly No. 557 is a vintage timekeeping and wage record book with a bold black cover graphic, a pocket watch illustration, and interior pages for tracking employee time, wages, deductions, and totals. Inside the cover is a detailed Table of Wages by the Hour, with rates ranging from twenty-five cents to one dollar per hour. Which is charming until you remember people were probably expected to be grateful for it.

This is a fantastic piece of workplace history and office ephemera. It has strong display appeal for collectors of accounting tools, industrial antiques, old store ledgers, payroll records, office decor, and paper goods from the days when every calculation had to be done by hand and apparently everyone just accepted that.

Use it as a prop, display it on a desk, add it to a paper ephemera collection, or gift it to the person who loves vintage office supplies more than is strictly reasonable. We support them.
