Before phones could keep us occupied for six straight hours, apparently we had a tiny ball, a plastic maze, and determination.
This vintage “Channel Chase” bagatelle-style handheld game is a wonderfully analog little challenge. The clear molded case encloses a maze-like course with numbered 10, 20, 30, and 40 scoring areas, colorful aviation-inspired graphics, and a spring plunger at the lower right. Period examples are attributed to Marx/Mar and date to the mid-20th century, with similar Channel Chase games commonly described as 1950s toys.
The object here is delightfully simple: launch the ball and try to guide it through the channels without negotiating with an app, accepting cookies, or charging anything first.
Condition: Well-used vintage condition. The clear plastic has substantial scratching, haze/cloudiness, dust and age-related discoloration. Interior wear and debris are visible. Please review photos carefully.
