Soft celadon green, a proper little lid, and just enough decoration to remind us that everyday objects used to make an effort.
This vintage Japanese ceramic teapot has a rounded body, loop handle, curved spout, fitted lid, and a soft seafoam/celadon green glaze. Subtle hand-painted decoration gives the surface extra depth without overwhelming the wonderfully simple shape.
The underside is marked “HAND PAINTED / MADE IN JAPAN” around a floral emblem. No specific maker has been conclusively identified.
Condition: Vintage condition with surface wear, glaze variation, and marks consistent with age and use. Wear and discoloration are visible around the foot rim. Lid is present. Please review photos for condition.
