Somewhere along the way, a humble shoe-grease tin became much more interesting.
This vintage Hubert’s Shoe Grease advertising tin features crisp blue-and-white graphics with an illustrated boot and portrait trademark. Fitted into the top is a cobalt-blue glass dish or insert. We have not confirmed that the glass component was original to the tin, so it is offered simply as the combination shown.
Approximately 3 inches tall.
Condition: Vintage display condition with oxidation, surface dirt, discoloration and general wear to the metal. Printed graphics remain strong and readable. Blue glass shows age-related surface wear. Please review photos carefully.
