Hand Crocheted Rose Doily with Raised Flowers

Someone sat down with thread, patience, and considerably better fine-motor skills than I possess.

This vintage hand-crocheted doily measures approximately 9 inches across and is built around a cream openwork center with dimensional pink-and-white roses and soft green leaves worked around the edge. The raised flowers give it much more personality than a flat lace doily and make it especially pretty under a perfume bottle, small vase, trinket dish, or anything else that deserves a tiny stage.

The color palette is soft and romantic without being overly formal: blush pink, cream, and pale green, basically cottagecore before cottagecore needed a name.

Condition: Good vintage handmade condition overall with age-related toning and light discoloration to the cream thread. No obvious major tears or missing floral elements. Handmade irregularities are part of the piece and its charm.
