Some ornaments spend eleven months packed in a box. This one has other plans.
This substantial vintage cloisonné-style ornament features colorful grapes, pears, leaves, and other fruit worked in enamel against a silvery metal ground. Fine wirework outlines the design, with deep blue scrollwork surrounding the top.
The ornament measures approximately 3 inches across, and it is just as appealing on a curio shelf as it is on a Christmas tree.
Condition: Vintage condition with age-related wear, tarnish, patina, and areas of discoloration to the metal, particularly around the cap and underside. Enamel remains attractive with minor surface wear visible.
