This miniature oil lamp pairs a softly rounded blue milk-glass base with a matching removable chimney. Both pieces have a raised beaded-rib pattern that gives the lamp a wonderfully old-fashioned look, while the brass-tone burner and little wick-adjustment wheel add exactly the right amount of honest age.
At approximately 6¾ inches tall, it is sized for a mantel, bookshelf, bedside vignette, or a collection of miniature lamps. The base and chimney are slightly different shades of blue, which is part of its collected-over-time charm rather than something a modern factory would have allowed.
Condition: Good vintage condition. The glass appears intact, with light surface wear. The metal burner shows tarnish and age-related discoloration. Wick function has not been tested.
