Gold Tone Art Deco Amber Glass & Green Floral Brooch

This brooch apparently looked at subtle jewelry and decided to take another path.

At the center is a large faceted rectangular amber-colored glass stone, framed by pale green rhinestones and four leaf or petal-shaped elements with soft green enamel and raised floral detailing. The gold-tone setting has a wonderfully aged surface that gives the piece a romantic, early-to-mid-20th-century costume-jewelry feel.

The combination of amber and pale green is particularly good: warm, slightly unusual, and just restrained enough to let the enormous center stone remain the main character.

I have not found a visible maker’s mark in the provided images. The style is consistent with vintage Art Deco-to-retro era costume jewelry, but I am keeping the date broad rather than claiming a specific decade without a signed mark or additional construction evidence.

Condition: Vintage condition with substantial age-related patina and finish wear. The large amber stone shows visible scratches/surface wear and internal-looking lines consistent with age. Smaller stones and enamel show wear. Please review close-up photos carefully.
