Victorians were absolutely incapable of being subtle about flowers, and honestly, thank goodness for that. This pink rose bouquet scrap brings the full romantic drama: layered blossoms, leafy greenery, and the sort of cheerful color that makes modern stationery look like it needs a nap.
It is a beautiful little example of antique chromolithograph-style floral ephemera, the kind once saved in albums or used to decorate correspondence when people had the decency to make their mail look adorable. Today, it would be wonderful framed, tucked into a collection, or used as the star of a very fancy junk journal page.
Tiny? Yes. Delicate? Absolutely. Dramatic? Obviously.
From Mom's Collection to Your Home.
Condition: Antique paper scrap with light toning, surface wear, edge wear, and handwritten notes on the reverse. Fragile and sold as found.
