Clear glass has a sneaky habit of looking simple until the light hits it. Then suddenly there are roses everywhere.
This approximately 8-inch plate is Tiffin Glass in the Cherokee Rose etched pattern, a discontinued American pattern produced during the mid-20th century. The clear glass features a scalloped, lightly beaded edge and alternating etched panels of roses, floral swags, urn-like motifs, and delicate scrollwork.
It is elegant without being fussy and useful without requiring a formal dinner party. Use it for dessert, cookies, small bites, jewelry on a vanity, or as part of a layered vintage glass display.
Condition: Good vintage condition with light surface scratches and wear consistent with age and use. No obvious major chips or cracks were observed in the supplied photos.
