A loose working lot of old wood-boring bits, because apparently one box of antique drilling technology was not enough for this batch.
This group includes assorted square-tang brace and auger bits in several diameters and spiral patterns, including one notably long bit. They are the traditional type made for use with a hand brace and show the shape, wear and darkened steel surfaces associated with decades-old workshop tools.
Use them as replacement bits for a traditional hand-tool kit, add them to an old-tool collection, or display them somewhere that appreciates objects built entirely around the premise that the user would provide the horsepower.
Condition: Vintage used condition with oxidation, discoloration, scratches and wear. Cutting edges have not been sharpened or tested. Maker markings are faint or unidentified. Sold together as the lot shown.
