Apparently even sewing needles used to arrive dressed for dinner.
This vintage Life Time Imported Needle Case is a Piccadilly Product with wonderfully period graphics on the cover and an assortment of sewing needles still tucked into the original interior panels. Open the folding case and you find decorative green and burgundy needle holders surrounded by printed floral scrollwork and advertising that reads All Gold Eye, Imported, and For All Sewing Purposes.
A substantial assortment of period needles remains, although I cannot confirm that the case is complete as originally sold.
Condition: Good vintage condition with expected paper and card wear, creasing, edge wear, surface marks, and age-related discoloration. The needles show varying degrees of age and patina. Please review photos carefully.
A charming little piece for a sewing room, needlework collection, vintage notions display, or anyone who agrees that modern packaging has gotten terribly boring.
