There are family outings, and then there are family outings where one child gets a wagon and everyone else does the work. Goebel’s Hummel “Pleasant Journey” captures that familiar arrangement in porcelain, with two children pulling a younger rider along in a wooden wagon.
This larger, highly detailed grouping is Hum 406, known in German as “Frohe Fahrt,” and comes with its original Goebel box. The soft hand-painted colors, expressive faces, scattered flowers, and movement of the figures make it an especially engaging Hummel display piece.
Condition: The figurine has no obvious chips, cracks, or repairs observed. The original box is included and shows age, discoloration, staining, edge wear, and storage wear. Box label identifies Hum 406 and approximately 6¼ inches.
