Goebel Hummel’s “Little Goat Herder” features a young boy in traditional Alpine clothing standing calmly between two goats, including a smaller kid pressed close beside him. The scene has all the familiar Hummel ingredients: rosy cheeks, tiny shoes, gentle animals, and a child who appears considerably more responsible than most adults.
This example is mold number 200/0 and measures approximately 5 inches tall. The underside carries the Goebel trademark TMK2 "Full Bee", Germany marking, and W. Goebel copyright information.
Condition: Vintage condition with light surface wear, minor dust or residue, and normal base wear. No obvious chips, cracks, or repairs. Hand-painted details may show the small variations expected from production. Please review photographs carefully for condition.
