This little schoolboy came prepared for weather, homework, and whatever else the day intended to throw at him. Goebel’s Hummel “Is It Raining?” shows him marching forward with books tucked under one arm, a backpack on his shoulders, and a closed umbrella held out in front as he checks the sky.
The figurine is Hum 420, also labeled “Regnet’s?” on the original box. Its rich greens, purples, warm browns, and beautifully modeled umbrella make it a strong standalone display piece, especially for collectors drawn to school-day or seasonal Hummels.
Condition: The figurine has no obvious chips, cracks, or repairs observed. The original box is included but has significant water staining, creasing, discoloration, splitting, and storage wear. Box label identifies Hum 420 and approximately 6⅛ inches.
