These two look as though they have been walking long enough to start singing about it. Goebel’s Hummel “Going Home,” known in German as “Wanderfreunde,” features a boy with a walking stick and a girl carrying a small bundle as they stride forward together.
The paired composition, open singing expressions, and warm hand-painted palette give the piece a cheerful sense of motion. It is Hum 383 and includes its original Goebel box, making it a lovely addition for a Hummel collector or anyone who prefers figurines with an actual story underway.
Condition: The original box is included and shows discoloration, staining, scuffs, and general storage wear.
