The soft hand-painted colors, warm little coat, and bright red taper make this a charming display piece for a Hummel collection, holiday shelf, or vintage vignette.
This example includes its original fitted box and packaging, which identifies the figure as “A Gentle Glow / Das Lichtlein brennt.” The underside carries the blue Goebel W. Germany mark. The figure measures approximately 5 1/4 inches tall without the candle.
