This early Hummel angel has been assigned candle duty and is taking it very seriously. She wears a soft green robe dotted with yellow stars, carries a long white candle, and has delicately painted wings rising behind her shoulder. The muted colors and gentle expression have the unmistakable look collectors seek in early M.I. Hummel pieces.
The underside carries the TMK1 Full Crown mark, dating the piece to the earliest Goebel Hummel production era. It measures approximately 4 1/4 inches tall.
This figurine is believed to be an early version of Heavenly Angel, often associated with Hum 21, although the incised model number is not visible in the supplied photograph. Because early Hummel variations can differ, the listing preserves that identification as probable rather than absolute.
Condition: Antique condition with visible surface soil, dark marks, rub wear, and signs of age. Fine crazing may be present. No obvious major chip or repair is visible from the supplied angles, but the figurine has not been represented as mint and should be reviewed carefully in the photographs.
