This elegant Bavarian porcelain hatpin holder stands approximately 5 inches tall with a softly flared base, scalloped rim, gold accents, and a delicate pink rose decoration. The underside is marked “J.S. & Co. Bavaria.” It comes with six assorted long hatpins, creating an instantly displayable vanity set.
The hatpins include a rhinestone cluster, a large faux pearl, a faceted lavender-purple glass drop, a gold-tone rounded top, a black bead, and a smaller silver-tone top. They vary in length, generally around 4 1/2 to 6 inches.
Condition: The porcelain holder shows age-related surface marks, light wear to decoration/gold trim, and some soiling around the base and rim. Hatpins show varying degrees of oxidation, discoloration, and wear consistent with age. Materials of the decorative tops have not been gem-tested.
