This is not a shy necklace.
A vivid red glass center stone anchors an elaborate gold-tone filigree pendant with smaller red glass accents, tiny white enamel floral details, geometric openwork, and a decorative station-style chain. The layered construction and ornate metalwork have the unmistakable drama of early costume jewelry, when “statement necklace” was less of a category and more of an instruction.
The design is strongly Art Deco in feeling, with a Czech or Bohemian-inspired mix of colored glass, filigree, and enamel. No maker mark is visible, so I am leaving the attribution open rather than inventing a famous name for it.
Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related patina, finish wear, and surface marks to the glass and metal. No maker mark is visible. Please review close-up photos for the exact stone and filigree condition.
