This antique Vienna Art Plate features a classical woman carrying a bow while cherubs flutter, hover, and generally make the entire scene more complicated than it needed to be.
The central romantic landscape is surrounded by a pink border with gilt scrollwork, Greek key bands, and floral cartouches. The plate is made as decorative wall art rather than functional dinnerware, with a metal rim and its original spring-wire hanging apparatus still attached to the back.
