This antique porcelain portrait plate features a beautifully rendered young woman with curled hair, a pale scarf, and a small star detail at her forehead. The portrait is surrounded by a delicate gilt floral border on a softly scalloped white porcelain rim, giving the piece the refined look of an early 20th-century cabinet plate.
The reverse is marked Victoria Austria, a mark associated with porcelain production in the Carlsbad region during the early 1900s. Pieces like this were made to be admired, not hidden in the dinnerware cupboard, and this one is ready for a plate wall, china cabinet, vanity display, or any room that could use a little Edwardian-era drama.
Condition: Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear. Some light surface wear and minor loss to the gilt decoration are visible. Plate stand is not included.
